Love the photos but I found the comment about giants a bit ignorant

A correction regarding the Queen Victoria Building looking south to Town Hall, is actually York Street and not George Street. Great pictures though.

I think it's absolutely fantastic that you were actually able to find names and give appropriate captions to each of these pictures. It's almost as if in a way you were able to give life and breath back to these people who have clearly been dead for close to 125 years. I like the fact that the pictures and the other film bits that you were able to curate are not just rehashing of some of the other photos I've seen on other channels. However I hope you can continue to grow and mature in your art form. The only thing that for me kind of detracted from the whole experience of the fact that on some Prince that you have chosen to colorize you've got like two three four different colors going on the same vestments and sometimes the clothing items colors are not consistent top to bottom. Either way I still gave you a thumbs up on the video it was still a very enjoyable to watch thank you for such an enjoyable time.

At 8.53 they couldn’t have celebrated Australia Day in 1900. Australia became one country rather than being made up of separate British colonies in 1901, termed Federation.

At 8.40 - that’s Queen Victoria Building is on the left hand side.

One of the dates is off by about 20 years: the wedding party @ 6:27.

Considering that photography came along in about 1840, the clarity of some these shots just 20 years later is astounding. Colorizing really brings them to life.

Despite the anachronism of the music relative to the photos, it was enjoyable nonetheless. Kudos!

4:38 That's Pitt Street Sydney. On the right side is Soul Pattinson Chemist (or Washington H. Soul & Co). It closed in 2017 and I was the last storeman assistant working there. It was weird working there during its last week as a business. Framed B'n'W photos of the chemist through out history were being boxed up and customers that had been entering the store for 60 odd years were walking in to take their final look around. And then closed forever. It was one of the finest places I ever worked for. Last time I looked, it was some kind of fly-by-night surf store full of clueless young people.

100 years after these photo's were taken the war criminal Tony Blair started the destruction of London. And it continues today aided and abetted by that wanker Sadiq Khan.

Celebrating Australia Day in 1900. Australia Day was first celebrated in 1935. Glad we don’t have to wear those impractical long dresses nowadays, especially to the beach!

Oh this is cool! But I have a question! How do they know what Colours people were wearing? Or is it just a guess?

IDK if you are restoring or coloring these photos personally but let me give you a bit of advice if so as I have been doing this for years with my own family photographs & our family home photographs. I found when I removed all the color out of the black and white images, yes even though no color is present. It removes the yellow and off-age spots that photographs have over such time. When I removed all the black and white colors you can see a difference. Then take them to color after. You will be amazed at the clarity of color and the difference of doing it without this detail. An example is @ the 1:28 mark the gymnasium you can see the fulted ionic columns and rows of the exercise machine were discolored in the process of coloring them as the black and white color was not removed first. And someone colored them or added color to them in the original condition they were found, downloaded, or copied. Or whatever other process these came by. Just giving a tip that blew me away the difference it made and easier with more clarity to color them that process became after.

'Australian Soldiers with captured, London Guns 1918' is Clearly France, possibly Paris, looking at the Haussman Style archtecture and it's proximity to where the guns were captured.

Look at the amazing architecture back in the 1800s doesn't the narrative tell us man only had horse and cart? Who really built those buildings? When will the truth be told? Research the research.

I arrived from 1889 7days ago and these photos are very similar to what l took.

I watched many of these pictures turn on different channels and this is a lovely one but the music is always seems to be out of character for the pictures on all the different shows I've seen I don't like the music

Not exactly the “earliest photos of Australia”. The camera was embraced by Aussies from about 1840 onwards. As soon as the patent was filed, it spread rapidly. And many of those photos survive.
